How to get/Upload CSV file in GST Pro?
CSV file is used to import or export product data, including HSN/HS codes, tax rates, and other GST related details. It helps streamline bulk updates and ensures easier management of GST compliance. The file can be opened and edited using tools like Excel or Google Sheets.
Go to GST Pro, then Products, and select "Build edit as CSV file" to proceed.
Then click on "Email me the CSV file" it will be sent to the email address which you've added in the GST Pro settings.
Note: If you’d like to receive the CSV file at a different email address, you can easily update it in the GST Pro settings. Here's how to do it:
1. Navigate to:
GST Pro > Settings > General > store details > Contact email. (Please refer the attached screenshots)
2. Update the email:
In GST Pro settings page, you’ll find the email field where your current address is saved. Replace it with the new email address where you’d like to receive the CSV file.
3.Save the changes:
After updating, make sure to save the changes so the next CSV file is sent to the new address.
Important Note:
Don't forget to switch the email back after downloading the CSV, as it's appears under the supplier address on invoice..”
You’ll then receive an email with the product CSV file. You can edit it as needed, and once done, upload it on the same page using the second option, "Upload updated CSV file."
That’s it! You’re all set to manage your GST details easily using the CSV file.
