With our GST Invoice + Reports, you get an option to send custom invoices with the order confirmation e-mail. Simply follow the steps below to enable this feature and you will be able to send custom GST-Invoices:

Click Email from the left sidebar menu of the GST Invoice + Reports app.

Select the Invoice option from the document type.
Now you have to click on the copy button and our code snippet will get copied for you.
Go to Shopify Settings -> Notifications -> Order confirmation

Click on Edit code
Now, On line number 35 and bring the pointer to start, here you have to paste the code. The code should be pasted before {% endcapture %}

Now in every confirmation email Shopify sends, there will be a Download GST invoice link

You can set HSN codes and GST percent for each of products you are selling. To find the HSN you can use our inbuilt HSN Search or an external search like cleartax.

What is the difference between 'Tax all products' and 'Tax only Taxable products'?

In preferences you'll find an option under the Tax section named Taxing options.

This option lets you decide which options enable taxes on. You can either tax all the products or tax products selectively.

Tax all products: Apply tax to all products regardless of "Taxable" status
Tax only "Taxable" products: Apply tax to only "Taxable" products (read below)

Where to find this "Taxable" settings in shopify?

Go to Products in your Shopify store admin.
Click on any product to edit it.
Scroll down to the Pricing section and you'll notice “Charge tax on this product” checkbox.
